INGREDIENTS: |

1 bunch of fresh
broccoli, flowerettes
only or 1 pkg of
frozen broccoli
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups fine bread
crumbs
2 cups of cooking oil
or Crisco
Salt & Pepper to
taste |

PREPARATION: |

Cook broccoli until soft, let
cool. Heat oil. When broccoli is
cooled, press pieces into scoop
until full. Remove and form a ball.
Squeeze excess water out. Roll in
beaten eggs, then in the bread
crumbs. Deep fry until golden brown,
turning while cooking.
HINTS: By using the scoop,
the balls will be uniform in size.
They dont take long at all to cook.
This can also be used with
Cauliflower. |
